Thanks for the posts! Was wondering how things were with them now! I live in upstate SC near Charlotte so I have 30 miles or less to I-77 and I-85 so lookin at them. Anyone know what kind of routes come thru here? I seen 4 TMC trucks at a location at a business park in Rock Hill. I read how they were years ago not sure would want to be forced to run illegal to make runs. I start school in August and then hoping to get flatbed! I too was military so sounds good to me!

I've talked with current TMC drivers recently on another chat board. Still alot of building products going out from SC. The rye-bar plant in Florence,SC has alot of TMC work so getting Home should be ok as long as you like taking a low paying run to get home. Alot of sheet steel coils from Chicago, Mich,Indiana and Sparrows pointMD going to Hyundai in SC. So you are in a great location to make money and still get home. I lived in E-town,Ky and was OTR, my neighbors thought I was a local driver.

I just talked to TMC today and I am going to be calling them back in a month when I am almost done with my refresher I am taking through the military for free. Said its not going to be a problem to get me on so it looks like I will be driving for them starting in September.

Papi1960R Thanks for the information. I figured I might be in a good spot I see their trucks every week in I-77 so figure I'm on a route somewhere. The TDI driving school said they do hire from them after done with school so will definately look at them. Any other flat bed companies that work in the SC area?

Any TMC drivers on here know if TMC is hiring north of I-94 (Detroit, MI) I have not called them in a while but they alway said not north of Detroit. I'm about 5 miles north of that.
    Thanks
