    Hello and welcome!
My cousin lives in Vasteras, not sure if I've spelt that right, but I think its in Sweden?!

Working in the US - basically it comes down to getting a visa / greencard.
Three routes - employment, family in the US and investing a LOT of money in a US business.
So its the employment route then.
You will need an offer of work from an employer who has to be willing to sponsor you through the immigration process.
There are also temporary working visas but i don;t know much about them.
Try googling the Department of Homeland Security, that will guid you through visas and work permits.

So, tell us, aside from Volvo, Ikea and Abba what is there in Sweden ??!!

    Baack Thanks this.

Hey Mike welcome to forum and unlike the Romans we dont throw people to the lions!!! Just kidding, we do but only i n other threads...LOL There are alot of things about working over here that you should know but I think the most important one you have already demonstrated, that you can read and write english. Your spelling is no worse than any of ours so no worries there!!!! Enjoy the boards and once again welcome!!

    Baack Thanks this.
