The pacbrake on my mbn does as good as any isx i ever drove. I dont know what the percentage of braking is i just keep her #3 all the time and have no complaints.

Hmmm.....how about giving us the benefit of our experiences?

I for one, have been around trucks and equipment most of my life......

Looks like you found you another troll to run off. Sounds like Eurotrash.

I don't understand why you would ever wanna get into the mess of buying a new to you truck? Sometimes they can just be huge headaches. Were the issues related to ur mbn because of the mods you did to it or just regular wear and tear? I'd way rather overhaul my motor and keep and truck that i know inside out then to get something brand new to me and find all those imperfections the hard way.

    Good luck in Cali......
My discussion with CARB officials earlier this year led up to a point that CARB considers the "Useful Life" of a rig is ten years.....
My '09 will have to be taken off the road in '20....It gets a year's reprieve because I bought it this year....

I purposely bought a "new off the lot" '09 to avoid the SCR......
There's not enough truck stops that dispense urea at the pump islands....I had no desire to carry 5 gallon buckets of urea, nor did I have the desire to pay an extra $10K for a DPF/SCR unit....

I have to play games with the fuel as it is now....Having an SCR would have me tare 32K with 75 gallons of fuel.....as it is...I tare 32K with 150 gallons on board.....

I just spent $40k (about $25k USD) rebuilding mine and thats with a new 2008 9NZ C-15 block I will never get a new truck just keep rebuilding the one I have.
Also we are about 6 years behind you guys with emissions its good to get a bit of warning on whats coming our way.
