I enjoyed it, did it for a couple years.
It also allows you to haul more than just flatbed freight !!!!! -
We have 3 curtainside trailers, plus a flatbed with a rolling tarp. Great trailers, very versatile, especially the one with the rolling tarp.
-
Have ran them for about 13yrs or so (flatbeds with rolling tarps). Honestly can't believe anyone still hand tarps.

You looking to buy one?johnday Thanks this. -
Sure can't argue there!!!
-
Rolling tarps are more versatile than curtain sides, also lighter. You can't crane load a curtain side, which means you can't handle a lot of steel loads.
-
This here is nice and you can do it all! Clear the man ain't working with that joke this is hooked too tho.

The one we have is a QuickDraw system, on a Transcraft trailer. It really works great.

You have to really be careful about forklifts banging the sides of your trailer, and upkeep and maintenance is critical. But it's the only way to go! -
SWEET! If i ever pull a skateboard thats the way to go.
