I don't know anything about those seats but I put a set of Comfort Ride seats in my Pete when it was new and still love them. I know that didn't help.

 

The Sears Elite is a far better quality seat. I will be replacing both of my seats this year and I have been shopping around for a while and for the money...You can't beat the Sears Elite seats!

 

Anyone tried the bose new truck seat yet

 

Put the Sears Elite seats in a month ago, love them!

 

I put comfort ride in my truck and love it. The seat is made by flex steel the same people that make the chair's for yor living room. But remember it's not all about the seat. Comfort Ride seat's set on a 3 piston air ride system and the back lash (back and forth) movvement is also air controlled. Add in the message now were talk'in WAKE me when we get there. I like it better than my Lazy-Boy at home.

 

I hate to rain on your parade but comfort ride went out of business last year, I found out when I needed to replace one of the armrests, I do love that seat and was wanting to replace it this year as it is getting pretty worn out.

 

That's bad news about comfort ride seats. I have had mine for going on six years and they still look new.

 

From what I read somewhere they may not be available yet. They are going after fleets first. I don't think I'll do anymore than just try one at $10k.

 

Looking to replace mine in the near future. Presently have the top of line model from Seats Inc. Bought from local KW dealer who had put them on sale. It was in December, and he cut prices to make room for new stock.....(yea, right) VERY disapointed with it. Was thinking of trying a Sears model, but wondering if Bostrom makes a quality seat?
