We could use some of that rain wheathauler. Riceland Jboro closed today. I was supposed to haul fuel today but the clutch went out in the fuel truck friday. I think it's really the clutch this time. Luckily I wasn't driving it at the time.

 

Yep,WH,i agree with you.The weather seems like it is all-or-nothing nowadays.We had the rainiest May and hottest June on record and now its gett'n purty dry around here ,what ever happened to a 'normal' growing season,must be global-warming I saw a lot of corn tassleing today and it looked like it needed a drink of water bad.

Well, we got a downpour in the panhandle but still plenty of fireworks. Crazy weather......... and humid enough to feel there should be a beach close by.....

 

Yes, once in a while. Myself, I stick to midds mostly because the rates are a little better (although it's not without added headaches), but our other trucks haul bean meal on a daily basis. It's pretty trouble free if the weather is cool, but once it starts getting hot and/or humid, it'll hang up a little bit. Once you get it started, though, it flows right out. Cargill in Wichita puts calcium carbonate in with their meal to help keep it loose. It helps, but it doesn't work miracles.
