I just purchased my first truck as an O/O. I would like help with finding a good insurance company with reasonable rates. I need cargo insurance not health insurance.

    Gears,

Is there anyway you can send a message with your insurance agent information?

I think Progressive is the only company that will write you without experience and keep you within a 500 mile radius.

Never heard about a co-signer before. Don't think that's an option

Hey guys, my friend is gonna be buying a truck in south Florida soon. He has to drive it bobtail to Arkansas to lease on to his company. He is gonna get insurance through them but he can't get insurance until they have inspected the truck. Are there any companies out there where he can buy two or three days worth of insurance for the trip from Florida?

    Thanks

A bobtail policy should only be a couple of hundred dollars ( 1 yr ) at most and your buddy is more than likely going to need it at some point down the road in the next year. If you really want you can get the policy then cancel however most policies have a 25% minimum earned premium meaning if the policy is $200 they are keeping at least $50 to begin with.
