Gee..let me run out back and just fire up the ol' MIG unit.

    :biggrin_2556:

Ok, in all fairness, nice idea but me-no-gots.
Besides, the metal is all salt-corroded. If the replacement is $$$ then maybe I can find a friend with a MIG. Otherwise, I think its just off to KW for me.

Geez, any backyard trukker muhcanik worth his salt has an "electric glue gun".:biggrin_25525:

The one in the pic didn't appear to be in too bad of shape other than the swaging that has broken loose. Even if you do end up getting a new one, I'd still take it to a metal wizard and have it attached a little more permanently.

    Hanadarko Thanks this.

I agree...My buddy Jon's dad has a MIG/TIG and all that crap. If he is free today and I can find a way to prop the window up (Since I got to take all that stuff out)...

But its supposed to rain later..big time. Thats all I need...

Its fixed. TIG welded back and painted over. Door is all back together and the window goes up/down as expected. My door light doesnt work now, but in all fairness - I have no idea when it did work last!

    Thanks guys...
