Well, for my part. You would probably be toast.
Let me lay it out, as rudely as I possibly can.
First and foremost, you have either shown a blatant disregard for the law.
Or you can't read.
You have failed on 3 separate occasions to comply with a traffic sign.
This is a pattern of habitual disregard.
What do you think your odds are ???

OK, since this is what you WANT to hear:
The judge will see that you are sincerely sorry about the flagrant violations (after the first, since you obviously didn't know better) and that you will never, NEVER EVER, even ever so slightly will again cause any future infractions of the rules of the road. That you are the epitome of all Professional Truckers, that you will be the shining light in all truckers eyes, and you will make every effort to teach those following behind you to follow your evangelistic attitude toward safe and legal driving.
After the judge acknowledges these marvelous traits you will bring forth in your quest for safe highways for all...he will praise you for your revelation, your epiphany to the security of all the motoring public. He will award you the key to the city, there will be a parade in your honor, there will be 72 virgins waiting at the most exquisite, elite suite at the resort hotel in your town, and the entire county population will have a party in the city park in honor of your name and your future endeavors on the highways of America...President Obama will come to pin a medal of valor on your chest...and OOIDA will produce a new award, making the million mile club seem a shanty pittance in the basking light of your new medal. the United States Congress shall declare your day in court a national holiday in memory of your epiphany and future good deeds and works you will undoubtedly perform for this nation, this state, and all the communities and townships around the globe!
There you happy...is that what you wanted to hear....NOW WAKE UP AND SMELL THE McDONALD'S YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE GRILLING FOR THE REAL TRUCKERS!
Teddy Salad and phroziac Thank this. -
thanks for the sarcastic comment. I am scared, and trembling. to the point. I can not eat and hardly sleep.

You cannot change the past...and the future is what it is going to be...there is no need to beat yourself up over this..(we will gladly give the beating with words...as you have seen) Just face reality, fess up to the boss man, and pray for the best...the speeds were under the "magic 15", so the fines won't be that harsh, but you have established a pattern of ignoring, or disregarding the rules of the road...only you can change this in the future.
first thing is to let the employer know, (it is required by law in our business/industry...federal law BTW)...and just man-up and face the fact you screwed the pooch!

i am beating myself up senseless. I have never had this happen to me. I have NEVER had this many tickets. I don't know what has happened. I am trying to make it up here in ohio all alone. I am a hurricane katrina victim. I know I can not change the past. I will just have to pay attention to the road. Be more careful. I was going downhill. both times when they caught me. This is definitely a wakeup call for me. To change the future.
I must not even think about this until next week. The officer stated, "it will be a higher fine because of the infractions in a 12 month period." That still don't help me from being scared senseless. -
i did that because of me being scared silly!!!!!
-
well you're scared, that's good AND bad. As OTHW stated "it's the past". Now get your head out of your azzhat, and pay attention. We ALL makes stupid mistakes, your option now is to learn from them, OR learn a new trade. You're a rookie, so you might get away with a probationary period from your company if you're lucky.
-
The fines are nothing compared to not informing your employer of the previous offences.
3 tickets in a year, most companys will fire you and forget driving untill they are off your licence.
Probally to late to inform them now and keep your job too.
If I was your employer I would wonder what else you were keeping from me too. -
I'm a survivor of severe child abuse by friends of the family. What does that say about my responsibilities in life? There I've shared something with the entire forum about my personal life they never knew. Will this make them treat me better, or pity me.
GOD !!! I hope not. I don't really need another reason to be a complete ### hole.
You have shown a blatant disregard for following ANY rules.
You have failed/refused on 2 occasions to report violations to your company. You have failed/refused to obey a traffic devise.
In just a couple of months, more or less. Your company is going to ask you to fill out an annual report, just like every company does, sign it as a sworn document.
Then, when they find out you lied about the number of violations you received over the past 12 months. You WILL be terminated ON THE SPOT. They will not buy you a bus ticket home.
It's been all about YOU. And what you want/think.
Yes...you WILL learn this lesson.
Would you like to super size that sir? -
In Illinois, 3 such violations will lead to the meeting at court and a suspension of your license for a few months.
