I think PT may be on the right track
Do you have a fuel pressure gage? Was it showing normal?
You may want to pull your filter and water
separator. Dump them into pans (cause I know you don't have any mason jars) to see if there is any water present.
Make sure you refill them before you put them back on.
Not sure if your Detroit has a hand pump but if it does you will need to pump it before you try to restart it.
BTW
Nice looking coach![]()
My truck won't accelerate....any insight?

Thanks will do, I'll pick up some injector cleaner first chance I get
Any in particular that you would recommend guys? I've seen some at most truck stops but never really got around to even using one since I've never had a fuel problem in any vehicle I've ever owned -
Well I'm at a racetrack so I'm sure I can find someone with some spare pans to empty them into
And yeah no clue if I have a hand pump, I get like 40lbs of manuals on everything in this coach and for the trailer but nothing on the motor except very basic info on when I should do services and god forbid them from putting in an parts numbers in the manual to make it easier to orderCabinover101 Thanks this. -
Do you have a Gen set?
Has it been running?
If it's still running good it may not be a fuel problem.JM Motors Thanks this. -
I would not drain the filters at the track. You can get air in the system and then you will have real problems.
Do the filter change at a truck stop or Oil/ Lube shop where there is someone to help you.
I think the advice you are getting is correct. I would bet it is a FUEL issue. You may have gotten bad fuel. It happens.
I do not have a preference on injector cleaner. I would buy a common name brand.JM Motors Thanks this. -
Yeah, I don't think the clutch is the problem. Your rpms would rev up if there was. Could be turbo, EGR, or something in the fuel system.

The genset has been working fine, it was just serviced this past Wednesday but it has a fuel problem, but it was due to air being in the line so they primed it and it worked again, did not change the filter, thAt was ordered but did not arrive in before the trip so it's still the same old filter and did a fresh oil change on both the genset and the engine
I believe I just located the fuel filters, one is in a clearish tank with what appears to he a hand pump/button to push to prime and a nozzle on the bottom so I followed the procedures on the label to empty water and a little came out and then what appeared to be diesel right after, I would say at the most about 1oz of water came out
Down below kinda hidden is another fuel filter that looks like a typical oil filter that's labeled secondary fuel filter
Once the suns starts to set we will pull both off and see if we can find any blockage but won't be able to replace the filters unless we find a shop along the route that has some on hand.
Thanks again

Is Lucas injector cleaner good? I usually find that easy to find at a majority of the stops
-
Lucas is a major brand. That is as good as any. That is what I would buy.
My last advice is don't get in over your head. Enjoy you time at the track.
Run injector cleaner through it. Change the fuel filters and hope it runs better on the way home. If it does not get better get it in the shop. I am sure they will get you fixed-up.
That is a nice Rig.JM Motors Thanks this. -
The water is probably the your problem.
JM Motors Thanks this.
