I was at the Whiteland, IN Pilot yeaterday. They were changing the signs at the Flying J when I was there. They were hanging a Denny's sign.
I think they should change the names of Flying J to Flying P. It's appropriate!
spinpsychle Thanks this. -
The Cummins shop is down from the Petro, but it's a lot bigger than any old Speedway truckstop I've ever seen.
-
Maybe Cummins bought the lot then, and some adjoining property. I used to get my oil changed down at the Speedco. On Saturdays, an old guy with a big smoker behind his pickup truck would serve fresh BBQ from a dirt lot next door. Beat the heck out of the truckstop food around there.

Actually after it sat abandoned for some years Cummins baught it and put their shop there relocating from Little Rock. It is buy the way across the street from Speed-Co.
Ah.............Speed-co North Little Rock, fond memories...........Thats where I meet my wife at in 2000......MUSTANGGT Thanks this. -
That clears it up, thanks.
I used to hang out down at the chrome shop. Never had to worry about Swift, J.B. etc. banging into you. Plus they had free coffee. -
-
I saw them doing the same thing at the "J" in St. Augustine, fl last week
-
Tenders at the J? Pass. Popeye's and Chesters have decent tenders!
-
Flying J Chicken Tender are overbreaded. Their hot wings aren't bad, if overpriced.
