Are there any good repair books out there. Thanks When I started driving we had to change brake chambers, tires, do pm,s, turn our trucks hp up, etc. I would like to learn more stuff, like the compressor, how to rebuild it. And signs of an inner cooler, going bad. Thanks again

That's a very open ended question because so many trucks are specialized in ways that some things apply across the board and others don't. It would be easier if you said what kind of truck are you working on.

This is a good question. I am wondering where I would get something like this as well (for Kenworth). Shop manuals and/or electrical diagrams and exploded parts views....
I have not come across any -

You can go to a kenworth dealer and give them your vin# to get a manual specific to your truck instead of a generic one manual for all like comes with every truck. The owner's manual mentions it. I don't know what it would cost, probably not cheap, but it might be worth it. I believe they have wiring schematics but not entirely sure you'd have to check with the dealer on that.

you can also try ebey i purchased a repair manual for the detroit 60 series engine that has been really helpful not mention saved me a few bucks

It would be for a Mack truck. Compressors and inner coolers on all makes are basically the same. I figured there would be a book out there, generally covering all makes.

If it's for a Mack, I got a very complete set of Service and Operators manuals for my 1952 LTSW from the Mack Museum. (If the V-8 Mack is the truck you are talking about, it may be old enough, I'm not sure about the newer trucks)
The cost of this: I was encouraged to make a donation. (I will definitely be making one, the manuals are great)
They also sent me a copy of the build sheet and the sales record.
