This week a truck was passing me on the right. Just as the rear of the trailer got even with my cab, one of his rear tires blew. Scared me to death.
I mentioned it on the radio and the driver says : It was my truck, it scared me to death to! lol

And when you check them, do it properly..................

when they are cold, with a good gauge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gauge them 2-3 times, for an accurate reading.

Super singles. These are the worst #### thing. They cost more than a set of dual tires, as well as the rim. The contact surface of a single is pretty much the same and a set of dual's combined so I don't see how it's saving any fuel. Blow one out, your screwed because your stuck and don't have the second there to help crutch your way to the nearest shop or next exit so that can tend to be more cost for a service truck because it would have to travel futher to get to you rather than being able to get closer and by the time you can get stopped you've already done some damage to the rim so in some case's having to replace it as well. Only benefit I see is slightly less weight. That's it.

This past week on my way back from Washington in Oklahoma I saw a truck rolled on it's side from super singles. forward passenger side trailer blew out. It caused a chain reaction damaging the second one and blowing it out. Truck was top heavy, it ate up both rim's and as the tires blew it shifted the load and over it went. Now this raise's the question, do you really feel safe driving or even being on the road around truck's with super singles on them? Not me. I've never drove or pulled anything with them equipted and don't look forward to it nither.

I drive for Prime because it is a class outfit - something you missed. Maybe you oughta have your vision checked while you get some grey matter stuffed in the ol' noggin!
