I'm the short skinny guy with the short cut hair and the goatee. Did I mention I'm ugly as hell too?[/QUOTE]

You're gonna need to narrow it down a little more than that.....

Well welcome aboard and enjoy orientation. It will be an entertaining week...Pete and Jim (Both from safety) are great guys and will feel you with a ton of information. I doubt I will get through Carlisle next week..im on a permit load headed to Louisana, but again welcome and I have never worked for a better company so you should be happy with the decision you have made.

Well be more specific....we have (stinky Ralph and stinky stinky Ralph).:biggrin_2552: I saw your truck in the yard in pooler yesterday, where are you headed with that load? I just picked up two dozers out of Sanford headed to Louisana for Monday. I guess freight headed out West is picking up...seems like everyone I talk to is headed to Arizona or California. I can't seem to get a load out West to save my life. Oh well im still cranking out the miles, so its all good. Be safe and have a good weekend.

Goin to Jooyzee truckdriver, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger being left back east.I'll tell ya I like Mo,Ks and Co weekend rules a hell of alot better than Md and Pa.Md gave me 3 whole hrs to run today....awesome!

Got hosed on a load to Wva this week.Went to Valdosta to load a 330 .It was a repo being transferred to a dealership in West bygod.Get there, get the mach lined up to go on the beam and ask the dealer there if he planned on washing the mach before I left."No".........Oh ok! Well I've got specific instructions not to load if it is not cleaned off.(Mach was caked with dirt...baked on all along sideframes....I woulda been buying windshields all the way to Wva) After some consultation with the mothership it is decided I would load it and arrangements would be made to get it cleaned.Soooo I loaded (but not chained) and I waited and waited and...well, you see where this is going.10 Mins after 5 I get the word to take it back off....we aint a haulin it.So I sat 3 hrs from the house overnight and came back the next day to load this Jersey load.
    Love my job!:biggrin_25523:
Oh btw the Ralph I speak of is the homeless lookin dude.

How hard is Keen on the flatbed experience part of their requirements? I have some but it was almost 10 years ago and the company is out of business so no way to verify it and it wasn't much to begin with. Everything else is not a problem for me. I would be closest to their yard in Clayton. Thanks

When I hired on I hadn't done a days worth of flat or equip hauling. Now some would say it really shows, but I just ignore them:biggrin_2559:
It really is a case by case deal,if ya got a good driving record and decent work history I would give Carlisle a call.Ask for Tom Lebo. All they can say is no,and you don't work for 'em now, so you aint lost nothing.
    Best of luck to you.

    outerspacehillbilly Thanks this.
