hey flash.... i just finished with the road trip and the other tests and decided to go ...yep...lease for 6 , but still have the option of going company if'n i don't screw up . course if i do then it wont much matter. anyhow there is a 14day walkaway just as there is with a walk away with you company guys. anyhow, who knows what the future holds? i could be sucessful or a complete failure either way. so i'll just do what i need to do. but..I wasn't coerced into this. based on info I got from both company and l/o i made a choice. will update later.
By the way.. it was a pleasure meeting you in rockwall. be passing you soon

Wishing you good luck wizard and hope all works out. Keep the left door shut as much as possible and keep your foot out of the pedal. The faster you go, the more fuel you use.
Don't know who you met, but it sure wasn't me. Haven't been in Rockwall for a month or so now. Am only about 35 miles away at the moment tho in Grand Prarie. Who'd ya get for a DM?

    Go with FFE !!!!
    I started out with them.
I should have stayed with them!
I had two trainers. One was Ken Baker, Do not get on this guys truck!
Request another trainer. My second was Paul Snelling, If you can get on his truck, you
will learn how to drive and enjoy your training time.

Sorry but can't help you with lease info. Not an L/O with them. Have been and will continue to be (for awwhile longer) a compnay driver.

Can give a couple of hints tho. When given load info, take your total miles and divide by 55. If your left sitting for longer than 12 hrs at the rcvr, decline the load. You do not get any kind of pay for sitting under a load. Also, take that same mileage and divide by 6. Thats how much fuel you'll need and don't get anymore than that. You'll get a bigger check that way.

Ah geeze dude. You really want me to try and rack my brain with as tired as it is right now? :biggrin_2559: As far as I can remember, I haven't been to MD but maybe twice. Have been thru and to so many places now that, unless something happened or I've been there a bunch of times, it just all runs thru together.
I seem to remember missing an appt. time in Upper Marlboro once (ice storm in PA) and spent a weekend up there as a new drvr.

    MD STEELERS FAN Thanks this.

Miles are still doing good tho had a hiccup this time out. Air valves had to be replaced so was down a day and a half for that. Then it was like preplans just disappeared. Getting rdy to go home for some HT and hope it's better when I come back out.
