I read the thread "How to insert imge into signature", and I still can't do it. There is something really strange about this function. I'd also like to be able to use the center command to get it centered in the frame. I notice that even when posting pictures in threads, during the edit this board does not display the HTML code, so you really can't understand what you're doing. Or, that is what it seems like to me. I've added signature pictures on a lot of different boards, and it is very simple compared to this board.
Anyway, enough complaining, here's what I see when I try to add a sig pic using my CP. And yes, I am clicking on the "add signature picture" button.

And here is the picture I'm trying to add. It meets all the requirements which is less than 600 X 200 and less than 78KB.

Can you tell what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,

Well dog gone. There it is. I guess it just doesn't show up in all the previous post I made? OK, now let me see if I can get it to center.

see there is something really crazy going on here. The BB window shows the HTML code for the picture as being the URL, but really the URL is in the window at the bottom which is from the truckersreport. See what I mean here in this screen capture I did. This is very confusing:

This needs some serious work fellows. Ya'll need to contact the BB host and find out where the errors are at in the software for doing this function. It is very confusing. Also, I can't upload a picture from my photo share site to use even though it meets the restrictions for uploading. I can only upload from a file in my computer. After you get all the problems here worked out, then we can start on why the HTML code is so confusing when trying to embed pictures in threads. For one thing, in the preview window where the HTML code is, the pictures themselves should NOT show up there! Only the HTML code should be there so we can see what the heck we are doing. For instance, I'd like to center this signature picture using the center command, but I can't see the HTML code in the edit box to know what I'm doing. Thanks for looking into this.

The issues you are having aren't related specifically with our site, but rather with the underlying vBulletin forum software that powers 100,000's of sites across the internet. You might contact vBulletin directly with suggestions on how to improve their software.
Mastertech Thanks this. -
Here's how easy it is to add a signature pic on another board I post on. See the line there with the BB code? I just use the center tags and img tags and then put the URL from my photo share site in the middle. Then up comes this perfectly centered signature picture. Real easy. I tried doing that on this board, and I didn't get anywhere. I'm not sure if "center" and "img" are BB code or HTML code. I'm really not sure. I've only done one web page in my life.
But here's a screen shot of what I'm talking about in the link below. Thanks.

It only takes a minute for you to download your picture to your computer and upload it to your signature, I don't see anything worth complaining about.
Centering your image is just as easy on this site as in your screenshot. I added the same center bb code tags, and your signature is now centered.kickin chicken Thanks this. -
Thanks Admin, you were able to do what I wasn't for some reason. When I tried to enter the link and bb code tags in the window, it would never accept it.
