Being in Calgary, if you did a bit of looking around at the companies there, I'm sure you could find at least 5 that you would like to work for. Once you do, get your abstract, put together a functional resume that also shows your 2 years of driving, and then take it in to each company. If they're not looking to interview you right away, try to get the name and extension of the hiring person, and call them the next day. Introduce yourself, let him/her know you dropped your resume and abstract off the day before, and then tell him/her you were wondering if you could come in a day from now to talk with him/her. So, if calling on Tuesday, ask to speak with him/her in person on Wednesday. If you did this with 5-10 companies, you'll surely get someone looking to put you behind the driver seat pretty quick. Hope this helps.

Go over to Northern Industrial Carriers at
9215 48 St Se I have no doubt they'll screw you over time to time but you will get your practice you need with a manual shift.

Screwed over? Well my friend, you pay for your education I really don't think they have any nice trucks. 2005 or 06 Binders. The last one of theirs I drove all I had to do was throw the stick in the direction of the gear I wanted and it fell into place. LOL But they will hire a brand new driver right out of school

H & R has trucks with Autoshifts WITHOUT the clutch pedal. Doesn't come any easier than that.
