    Hi all i am new here and i am just starting my new caree as a driver i start my CDL school july 26th and after school i am going to work for USA trucking. Just looking for some advise from others as to what to expect when i get out of school and start with my trainer driver very nervous about the trainer driver thing. Any advise would be greatful

    Best advice I can give regarding the trainer...if it doesn't look like it's going to work out, request a different trainer early on. You will be able to tell within a few days whether you will be able to tolerate your trainer or not.

    Other best advice...if you decide you can tolerate your assigned trainer, just suck it up until your training is finished and know there is light at the end of the tunnel. You will survive and you will get your own truck.

    It's difficult to live in such an enclosed space 24/7 with even your best friend without wanting to kill him after a few weeks. Just keep your eye on the ball. You'll be fine.
