should be just a flash file in the ecm to change, IF your driveline(clutch, trans) is rated for 1850ftlbs, if not then most want uprate it.

Just clutch and trans. not axle differential?

not usually, unless its something weird that was speced on a truck, most diff's are stout enuff to handle most anything except driver abuse! However the trans and clutch are built to withstand a certain amount of torque. if its easy to get to, look at the tag on the trans and look at the model number, if its an eaton it should be something like Fro16210C or rtlo18913a, or another set of letters. for example FRO is the series trans, 16 is torque rating, meaning this 1 is rated for up to 1650 torque, 2 is build info, 10 is how many gears, C is the gear ratio spread between each gear. hope this helps.
