####, look at all these pages of posts on cheesy DAC reports!!! You'd think those conniving dirtbags would've been put out of business long ago... I've had companies put all kinds of b.s. on my DAC, none of it true... If I park a truck with an empty wagon in a company yard (not a drop lot, but an actual yard with an office), then walk in and hand some douche the keys, I don't reckon that to be an "Abandonment." Another good one: listing "Failure or refusal to take a drug test" once you're long gone from the company. Oh, well, there are enough posts on here already... doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this DAC system is flawed and downright criminal at times. Some people say that DAC employees are merely passing on info given to them by employers, but I don't hold with that statement: these DAC greaseballs must know that some of this info is straight-up b.s. One of these days, some irate truck driver will park a truck McVeigh-style right there at DAC headquarters, and DAC employees will rain down on Tulsa like confetti... and good riddance. The trucking industry seems to be its own worst enemy, and I guess it won't be happy until there are two illegal immigrants with fake CDL-As in every truck, making minimum wage with zero benefits. God help the motoring public then... enough said.

The companies I was interested in need to check my DAC report along with my MVR record...whats the difference? What does DAC stand for, what is it going to show? Please help me
-
Your MVR is basically what the DMV has on file for you in terms of accidents, etc. Your DAC report is sort of like a credit report for drivers. If you are brand new you won't have one yet. If you move from company to company each one will be able to see the companies you've worked for previously and your record with them, why you left/terminated/accidents, etc.

Any thing older than 10 years should not show up on the report?? I am guessing like a credit report it gets aged out and dropped off???thanks all!

How long does it take something minor to come off your DAC report?
