ICC and failed pre hire

    Would I be able to recieve my ICC and dot numbers to go independent, if I had a failed prehire several years ago? Looking to haul on my own, and no am not a drug user, was at a party they served some mary j brownies unknowen to me. as would never jeapordize CDL

    getting your authority has nothing to do with a prehire for a company.as long as you meet the requirements of the fmcsa you can get your authority.

    I think the questionaire you have to fill out for your authority asks about that.. If I remember right all most all of it applies to is positive drug test results and if you've ever had prior authority before..

    FYI...The ICC was abolished years ago... it's no longer in existence.
