Perhaps things HAVE changed since you were out here...If I can do all the things with one set of tarps that it took you three sets of tarps to accomplish...maybe I have less to learn than you think!![]()

Thats the problem right there brokers, the loads are paying way more than that because i haul for alot of the lumber companys up here and there rates are way better than what the dirt bag bokers put out there, but the problem is the big companys still take it for the broker rate.

You first!

Dude I've got a brokers license, the broker isn't making that much money. Do you really believe the broker is taking $3.00 per mile cut off the loads up there? If that was anywhere near true I wouldn't be driving, I'd be posting loads from a beach somewhere.
On most loads I've ever posted I MIGHT make $50-$100 and I have to deal with the drivers, paperwork and a bunch of phone calls.

I'm game, after I get my fleet of Cascadias with those 9mpg motors I hear so much about.
When's yours being delivered? I know you traded that blood sucking dinosaur Cat you've got for a new Volvo so you can make money with those $1.00 per mile hand tarp loads.

I guess I could go buy one since they pay for themselves, even when running for nothing the payment just appears in my checking account right..?

Well good for you on being honest but to many brokers are not and yes i know the rates on some of these loads because i haul them direct and i know what some bokers are offering them for ,i never said they were taking $3 a mile off the top, theres weekly loads out of NH, VT,ME, MA,Ny and PA for one company i haul for that i cant cover and the brokers they give them to are taking anywhere from $.45 to $1.00 a mile on them and there all 300 to 500 mile runs so you do the math there taking anywhere fron 20% to 40% and the worst is UTI/Market /Intransit.
