I don't know what their current policy is, I've been gone from there since 2004. But it used to be that they discouraged you from driving those late night hours. They did not prohibit it though.
I can't stress enough how seriously you should take the posts against Knight. That being said, who knows? You just might find them "workable" for yourself, at least for a while. But I sure would not recommend them.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Can you tell me about any companies that run 7 on 7 off or similar or part-time?

I think Celedon also advertises the 7/7split
-
Transport America.... 30k year they say with the 7/7
-
i went to Roehl's website. What i don't fully understand is, is van national a different "fleet" from 7/7 altogether. Or is 7/7 a division within the van national fleet?
i prefer to get more info before calling because then they got my name etc. etc. etc.......
P.S. no "bensalem" terminal----must have gotten them confused with another company. Looks like elllenwood or gary would be closest to me.

Someone said SNI earlier, which is Schneider. Say what you will about a slow truck, they're pretty awesome in other ways.

I just got hired with schneider doing 7/7 out of SLC. I was supposed to share with another driver, I offered to pick up extra days at the end of my run so they pulled the share. But most of the time it's share, which depends on the other driver how well it will run. From time to time on my 7 off I share with a 22 year vet who treats the truck like gold so I lucked out.

do you know if they have any openings for drivers in the st george area for 7/7 or anything else?
-
Thinking of relocating here? If so, and if you are not real familiar with the area give me PM and I can fill you in on somethings you may not be aware of.
I would guess the best way to get an answer to your question would be to contact Schneider. However, I can tell you that I don't see many of their trucks around here. Even passing through on the interstate. There are a few, but nothing like you find in the midwest. -
Transport America (aka Transport Corporation of America - TCAM) has what they call lifestyle fleets. One is 2 weeks on and one off, the other is one week on and one off. You will slip seat with two drivers between two trucks on the former, one driver one truck on the latter.
Figure the mileage (realistically) at 2200-2500 per week out on average (about what I've been doing since I started with them).
