i will say this for any one looking for a flatbed company. i been driving for hornady for about a month and a half now and i pretty happy so far. i get 2200-2400 miles a week and can get more if i stay out. i hardly ever talk to my dispatcher. once a week at the most. i dont wait for loads very often. 3 hours at the most and thats only been 2 or 3 times. the only thing that sucks is me tarp everything and all we have are lumber tarps.trucks aren't the best but they do the job. if u want to know something just ask me and i will be happy to answer.

builders out of memphis is a good company. only worked there for 2 months because a local driving job came available. they start everybody at .37 u must have 1 year OTR. home every weekend if u want to be home. If u want to stay out they will give you long runs not 400-500 miler for the weekend. good quarterly bonus program that can be acheived. u get about 1700. a quarter. I was getting about 2500 miles a week and home on weekends. They will keep u busy.

Hey does Hornady still have their Small yard near E-town,KY? They had a Dale Ernhardt look-a-like recruiter who always took me to lunch to try to get me to come over from TMC in 95. He probaly bought me 10 steaks at Outback in Louisville. Without his company shirt on people used to come over and ask "Dale" to sign their hats and t-shirts.I can't remember his name, but quite a Character.

Anyone know of Flatbed Companies based out of Atlanta, or with Atlanta Terminals. I live in area that doesn't allow tractor trailer parking due to city ordinance, or there's not enough room # my apartment. I've been driving for 6 months, so obviously experience may be a factor. But Reefers just aren't getting the job done. Thanks in advance.
