Midnight Man,
Yeah I heard some say they got straight in and others had to wait. Like you can't afford to be waiting around after school. I guess I should go ahead and apply and try to get them to get me a pre hire and schedule me on the 5th. Good luck to ya! -
10-4 thanks ill need it
-
Exactly. Sleeping in a metal box in a urine-soaked parking lot for chump change ain't much of a life.
To each his own. -
Neither is standing in the same place for 8-10-12 hours a day, everyday...doing the same boring crap for what is TRULY chump change.
Trucking is a lifestyle...for those that accept it for what it is. For the rest of you, its beyond your comprehension...but in a nutshell, if you can't take the heat...stay out of the kitchen.sewerman Thanks this. -
Ridgeruner,
How ya been buddy? I havent forgot about ya! Gonna be filling out application soon and will put you as reference. How's it going? Good milage? I got prehire from TMC but still want Maverick first. Well catch you later! -
I'm doin good...miles have been low but thats my fault for taking a few days off (4 days off...made for 2 short weeks)
I appreciate it...all referral bonuses aside, I'd still say Maverick is a better place to work.
Good luck. -
Ridgerunner
I agree they are my first choice but I live just outside hiring area but recruiter says he can probably get me in cause I'm very close to line. I was thinking about putting in app online will I be able to reference you on there or do I have to tell recruiter? May I ask what you pay averages? Also how long have you been with Maverick? Thanks again! -
It is real simple. They tell you what they expect. They tell you not to drink. You drink your out. They tell you what they expect on the road test on speed on ramps. You don't listen your gone. All you have to do is pay attention. They give you everything you need to pass. You don't listen. You don't pass.dirtdobber and sewerman Thank this.
