Yeah the Military teaches you how to sleep through anything except for the words "INCOMING" then you pretty much learn how a dog digs a hole so fast!

 

Dad told me, don't sleep near anything that flies or wears brass.

 

my screamer still yells 2 years later first one was bad out of package but Pilot exchanged it no prob. and I haven't slept thru it yet. when I was with my mentor I set it once while he was driving he about stroked when it went off I hadn't used it before and didn't after until I was on my own. he promised to stop with plenty of time for me to get ready to go from then on. said he had to throw under wear away.

Get young cat who has never been in a truck. Wife insists you take him for the heck of it.
Set your wind up Big Ben double bell ringer on the hook on the back wall of your truck where it's been for years.
Go to sleep.
Cat moves in behind you and curls up against your back next to the wall.
Big Ben goes off.
Cat puts it in 4 claw drive and goes up your back across your side and heads towards windshield.
You catch cat in mid air and get your arm shredded by cat that is still in 4 claw drive!
Go home give cat that is in suitcase to wife and tell her no more ideas!

i slept thru one for about two hours and woke up couldnt hear squat

 

probably the equivalent of having a grenade go off with no ear protection

keep in mind i was on a week solid of 2 hr naps at night and that was it
