    He's a DDS, I broke a tooth in the middle of nowhere and was in extreme pain, but I was on a schedule. I just happened to stop there to grab a tshirt and saw there was a dentist there.

    I actually seen this on Travel Channel on Extreme TruckStops last week.
    I guess he had his own private practice open and was doing dental work part time at Iowa80. Eventually he became busy enough at Iowa80 and closed his private practice.
