Yep my AC struggled today too. Not too bad at highway speed but idling around loading, sampling, and dumping it gets hot in there.

Hey wheathauler dads hauling wheat to hutch from outwest, and reloading corn at cargill going back out to hugoton. I told him to be looking for ya lol, hes driving a 2000 kw w900 big hood midroof purple, and a white wilson spread axle. I guess cargil has a lot of work according to the dispacter weve got 4 of his trucks running on it. crop jocky

Be on the lookout for him. We're hauling to west elevator and the corn is at east elevator. Changed logos on truck, there's a big H on the side of doors now.

You know - plenty of Volvo bashing goes on in here - but I've never gotten it from someone I was talking to in person......

In weather like this, I'm glad the A/C has a recirculate switch - the vents are cold enough to freeze your knuckles after awhile. When I light up I have to open the window and open the system up - so it warms up quick - but it's great to have that option again after. And that remote switch for the A/C unit in the sleeper comes in real handy when it's this temp outside.

Still parked at the house goofing off and shelling out money to renew everything already. Hope you're safe and cool and making money out there friends (wife hasn't killed me yet). :biggrin_2559:

1 reason shakers are hard to cool is so much air comes in around the doors. At least on ours.

104 heat index today. Sure hope my tires hold out during this heat. I need to replace 4 drives but would like to wait until after fall harvest.

Cowdoc, my old shaker let in a ton of air too.

cowdoc and Saddle Tramp Thank this.

:biggrin_25514:The A/C on the '95 shaker that i drive doesn't work very well either, have to have the window down just to get a breeze. i roll it up while i wait to dump my load of corn.:biggrin_25514:
