Sounds good BBB1! Glad to hear that you are living in the lap of luxury in that Freightliner. I, on the other hand, am sharing quarters with my Swift mentor. He's a great guy and we are managing well with this limited space.
Keep in touch!
My trucking adventure begins, started school today.

I'll be in MS briefly tommorrow. Delivering 20 tons of flour to a baking company in Pelahatchie. That'll be twice in the last month we've blown thru The Magnolia State.
Hope all continues to go well for you!difference-maker, beboppinbigun1, Capitan and 1 other person Thank this. -
94nole are you back with WSE? I have been reading your posts with a great deal of interest. I got my approval today from David Murphy. They are sending me to Central Tech in Drumwright OK for school. This is something I have always wanted to do also. Taking a huge cut in pay but at age 56 it is now or never! lol

Sorry it has been so long since i updated, been running good lately. I am down tonight went to get truck serviced and whoever did it last stripped the drain plug so have to have the oil pan replaced, won't be in 'till tommorrow. I have been enjoying myself for the most part the last month or so finally starting to get some decent runs and not sitting as much. Had the wife with me for a couple weeks in august, she loved it and is working on getting her license now.only bad thing that has happened recently is i was at the TA in Prescott, AR. and a idiot was not paying attention and hit my truck did 3500.00 worth of damage so next time i am on home time need to put the truck in the shop for that. Y'all be safe.

I am signed up with Foodlink Truck Driving School in Sacramento, CA and was wondering if anyone has any feedback to pass on. I really think this is the way for me to go as I do have the time do to the 18 week course and the theroy behind there way of being compensated for there time in training you seems comendable and fair. What I'm concerned about is the creditability of there schooling and how the trucking industry feels about their graduates. What are the chances of landing a good paying job being a graduate from Foodlink vs. some other accredited trucking school? Any and all info will be greatly appriciated. Thank you
