All colors including white are o/o......but ONLY white is used for company trucks.

Thanks for the diary. Great read. Got a Dodge RT myself. Now if I could just get one of those dark blue shakers I would be happy.

Dude, you can't just tell me you you have an R/T and not give me details. That's just not cool, man! My R/T is a bit of a misnomer actually. I just have a regular old 86 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton pickup that I plan to swap a 440 into. Make my own R/T, sorta.
I will update more this weekend. Let me say it has been a bad two weeks, but I will give more details later. I will also explain the truck issue more clearly, at least as far as I understand it.
Until then, keep it rollin and be safe!
Mopar or no Car!JustSonny and The Challenger Thank this. -
Yeah, sorry about that. lol
Ive got a 99 Dakota RT with a few ummm, improvements.
Its got 65k miles on it and has been a lot of fun driving around. Put the Mopar intake manifold, ported throttle body, and new plugs and wires a few months back. Worth the effort. Then I took the muffler off and am running a straight pipe after the cat. Just the sound I was looking for. Thinking about headers next but that is low on the priority of life list.
Sorry to hear about the bad last couple of weeks. One thing I enjoy about this thread is that it sure has covered quite a bit of ups and downs in only 10 pages. Your insight is interesting and appreciated. I look forward to reading more and wish you the best out there. -
Don't bet the farm on that one! I have seen the lease trucks get turned into company rigs. Blue Shakers with the big logos. Saw a T2000 in white yesterday or today in Ohio. Big Swish! -
I have a '79 R/T special edition. Maxivan with an R/T emblem in the grille. It's a rug truck!
One of none! -

Ok, here is the skinny on the truck situation, at least as far as I understand it and have observed. 99% of the white trucks are all company trucks. I have seen a couple white L-O/O (Lease-Owner/Operator) trucks, but only a couple. Most of the L-O/O trucks are of some sort of color. Some of the Lease-Owner trucks have been swapped to company use. This is the case with my current truck, the blue Shaker in the previous picture. The best way to tell the difference between a L/O truck and a company truck is the ###### gold "S" on the side of the truck and the "Swift" across the roof. Company trucks have them L/O trucks don't. If it's a colored truck and it has those decals on them, you can bet it's a former lease truck. The only truck that I, personally, have not seen as a company truck yet is the KW T2000, but that is not to say they haven't done so. If Rug has seen a T2000 with the company stickers, then I would say they have used them too. Last time I was at Memphis just a couple weeks ago, there was a line of about 10-15 brand new white Prostars all with the company stickers, just waiting for someone to take them out.
I will talk about my week later. Right now, I have to get ready to go to my wife's high school reunion. The Challenger Thanks this. -
While you guys are on the topic of the type of trucks that Swift uses.... Do they run any Petes or Freightliners? I thought I've seen a few in pictures or out on the roads. Not very often, but I've seen them.
