Graphic Packaging....yech. Last spring I dropped scrap at their plant in Kalamazoo and got a dispatch for roll stock from the same plant that showed drop/hook. wound up waiting 22 hours for that load and never got a dime for my troubles.

Unfortunately, detention pay programs at most carriers is a joke. Unless you make EVERY customer pay it is, for the most part, a waste of time. The companies that don't pay detention fees to carriers are the ones who need to. But they won't because they know they are such an incompetent bunch of ####### that they would go broke in three weeks. The decent companies that pay detention, rarely need to, because they know what they are doing.
The only solution is getting rid of mileage pay. Mileage pay is stupid. Always has been. Pay drivers for their time. ALL time that they are on company business, docks, fueling, inspections, truck washes. That's the way it should be. You can bet that EVERY customer would be paying detention then. But as long as carriers can give away your time for free, they will. -
I'm telling ya, these Prostars are crap. Pure, unadulterated crap. The day I got home (21st) the dash blower stopped working. Ergo, no A/C. Called Steve in Columbus and was told that it happens a lot and I need a new blower motor. Called breakdown and got permission to drop my truck at International to get it fixed. I need to be on the road by the 28th and it looks like that may not happen. This is the 3rd Prostar I have been assigned and every one of them has been plagued with problems.

I've had my prostar for just over 6 months and have had no problems whatsoever. I have a 2010, and I have talked to drivers that have had the earlier models that have had more problems(several were battery issues). I've had no problems and really like it. Hope you have better luck.

All 3 of mine were 2010's.

I've been there 2 times with the same experience as ET. I wish we would stop doing business with that plant. -
Are you force dispatch?

Is there much Crete freight in and around Baltimore?
Thinking about giving Crete a call to see if they will hire me on, and trying to figure out if I live in a good area to get me home when my time is due or if I'll have to deal with issues in finding loads going near here. -
You shouldn't have any problems getting home. The only thing is you'll probably get sent to Aberdeen every time you leave the house and pick up a heavy ##### Clorox load.davenjeip Thanks this. -
For all intents and purposes, yes. It kind of snuck up on us a year or two ago.
