Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

O-BOY. I am in the same boat as you. I live in SWFL. I have only driven local. Now i cant find any jobs and the only OTR companys that will hire this far south are CR England, US Express, and Werner.I have to work so I am choosing Werner...we will see how it goes.
Altho, with you living in central FL it should not be as hard to find a job. -
thanks for the feedback. i was looking into star and werner. i have 1 1/2 years exp. t/t but 7 months of is with a company that went out of business and the rest is at a company i drove straight truck 80% of the time but for a 1 year i drove t/t 2 or 3 times a week i just don't want to have to go to school to get on with a good co.

Ya, werner would not give me experience credits for the last 8 months because the trailers were only 35'. But they have me down for 26 months of pervious experience. Werner is not hard to get hired on with. Altho, because i have never been OTR i will be riding with a trainer for 3 weeks.

Also i have herd alot of bad about werner and the rest of the companys. So thats why i say we will see how it goes...
