So are you saying Werner has no losers working for them? Or merely saying he's not allowed to"call em as he sees em"

They do schedule 34 hour resets. They do it to me all the time because I run my 11 to 0 all most every day.

At our warehouse there are Werner Drivers delivering everyday when I'm getting my truck ready to leave for the day and I always ask them if they like working for Werner and they always tell me, " yes I do." One guy told me, "There's gotta be something wrong with you if you don't." Don't know if that helps any. I also talked to a Swift driver who was waiting to dock and said he loves Swift and says "You just have to stick around for a bit and prove yourself then you'll start making the money."

seemed like i proved myself and stopped making the money at werner lol
halfburn Thanks this. -
Hey Joe let's put the record straight here. I have no commitment to any company other than doing the best I can for whomever I work for. I have done this all my life no matter who my employer was. Money doesn't come into the equation.
And to Kindhearted, I beg to differ with you. They do schedule in 34 hr resets. I find it hard to believe that every two weeks it's a coincidence that there is not a load that I have to sit for 34 hours. I am under a load every time I've been on my reset. They have software that figures all this stuff out.
To all who have contributed to this blog, thanks for all your contributions. I am still learning this business and all information has been logged into my memory banks whether I agree with it or not.
I have learned a tremendous amount from everyone and I am very appreciative. I apologize to everyone if I may come off ignorant at times. Believe me I am humbled. God Bless. -
Hey bob have they ever offered you a dedicated account? They told me all they have for me right now is to run the eastern US.

Sorry, I did not intend to put any words in your mouth.
Hope the road brings you much success. I also hope you are able to find time to give us some more detailed posts about what you are learning from this career change. Since you made such a change and I am exploring making such a change the start of this thread really caught my attention. I had hoped to hear more about what driving for a company was like day to day and what all the little things that can trip up a new driver (costing time and money) you encountered. I learned a pretty valuable lesson from your post about taking your truck home and everything that can go wrong there. Would love to have some information rich post about little things like that as well as how the company you are working for runs day to day.
All the best,
Joe -
Wow huh? This indeed will be an interesting post. U go Bob !!! Uhm Bob..... working partners? No sir..... you are a tool, to be used like a wrench in a box and if you break or fail to perform to expectations then you will be discarded and replaced.
Be careful, trust no one in management and by all means CYA for they ( and others ) WILL tell you what you want to hear. -
As does every other employer
