Shower head? I just have a pipe jutting out of the wall.

 

I have a low flow shower head at my house that works GREAT. One of the best shower heads i've ever used. A lot of the older and cheaper ones are horrible, but proper engineering can result in the same quality of shower with less water. It's not the amount of water that matters, its what you do with it.

Kind of like low flow toilets. Remember the "king of the hill" episode about this? Originally they just put smaller tanks on regular toilets. Problem is, there was a reason the tank was that big.

Now they somehow pressurize the water in the tank, and flush with more force, and honestly work better than any old fashioned ten gallon toilet ever did.

I don't agree with water conservation. But i do agree with shower heads and toilets that work properly. Hell, my town is right on one of the biggest freshwater lakes in the world, but they have a thing where we're only allowed to water our lawns on certain days of the week. It goes by whether your address is even or odd. Meh.

We live right on one of the biggest fresh water lakes in the world. Where does the waste water go? Well, if i'm watering the lawn with it, it ends up back in the lake through natural processes. No sewer required for that.. Yup. If there isnt enough water, that is an infrastructure problem that needs to be fixed.

I do understand there are places where its harder to obtain water....but this is not las vegas.

 

if you remove shower head and look inside,you will see a plastic ring with a screen on it.
Remove that ring.

 

sometimes i wonder if they make it that easy to make everyone happy without breaking the law. kinda like galaxy 99s, lol.

 

I have a lot of hair. Regardless of water flow through the nozzle, it will take the same number of gallons to rinse out the soap. It's a matter of how much time it takes. Actually, nothing is saved. Roughly the same amount of water, more energy in burning the lights and running the fan, longer pump time....

Just another case of out-of-control guv'mint that can't stay out of anyone's life. So, what, they gonna tell me I have to cut my hair to save water and energy? I'd like to see that one.

 

Actually i used to have a lot of hair until a few weeks ago, and this shower head worked great and just as fast as an old style shower head.

You just need a good shower head. They're hard to find, they all claim to be good.
