From what I have read, they are a lease operator outfit.

Also from what I have read, I wouldn't want to work there !!!

But that's just me, I prefer to make money for myself !!!!!!!!

Colonial Freight Systems is in Knoxville, TN and is a different company..... and very different company. They are one of the very few out here that actually tells you the truth instead of what you want to hear. If you like what they say, you can take it all the way to the bank. I don't know anything about the one in St Louis? But the one in Knoxville is a great one if you like to make your own decisions and make a good check each week.

Colonial is an excellent choice if you are driven to make something of yourself, but if you like hanging out more than working... be a company follower somewhere else. Colonial's O/O program is for drivers, not wheel turners. They are always fair and honest about your opportunities, and the pay is as great as you make it. Very tough to get approved from recruiting, but if you are the few that can get on..... run with it. Too many people talk negatively about companies that won't hire them.

An Excellent company for those that want to work. It sounds like Mr Booker wasn't a worker... maybe just a "wheel-turner". Colonial's program is set up to allow someone without their own truck to become an o/o. The pay is much higher than most, but the cost to own your own business is higher.... at the end of the day, you make a little more money than a company truck, but you get to chose your own loads, and area of operation. *** Would you rather go where the company tells you, or go where you want for 20% more money? ***
