what do you mean by a expedite 6 wheeler? Any 6 wheeler I know of you can park anywhere ( Unless if there a clearence prob or the equivalent ) even most 10's and tri axles are easy to park, with or with out pivot points.

So what your saying is that it bugs you to see straight trucks and what not parked in truckstops for the night? Makes sense as you are right they can park in alot more places. I just always wondered what others thought about that.

No Cash don't get me wrong, Straight jobs in truck stop's I'm ok with, it's when they ( more so the smaller 6 wheelers ) are parked in a slot ment for trailors, when it's tight as it is, and there's meny other places they can go, Parking on the side lines, corners whatever. It's when their to lazy to park those spots couse it's easier to slide into a 70' space. If theirs no corner or side line for a 6 wheel then hit the parking lot next door chances are he will fit much eaiser and quicker then a big truck w/out wondering what you'll have to go through to get back out. And unless you been around in a big truck I understand you might not see this or get it, but if you driven a big truck for any time you'll get those situations, more often rookie mistakes but it does happen. why put a 70' truck driver through it at 11pm after driving for 14+ hrs, in my eyes it's just respect at that point. yea and Johnney Cash rules

Sorry its been awhile since i got back to this but i just actually noticed the reply now.

And yea i understand the situation i been in enough trucks. havent driven any but you know. My uncle does drive a 6 wheeler and when you mention it now i can remember whenever i go with him he will park it on the sidelines or whatnot and the only time he parks in a long spot is only to fun in for a few minutes and grab a coffee. He was always the courtious kind of guy that would park his car in the very back of a parking lot so as not to take any spots for somone who really needed it. even if the lot was empty.lol

No big deal. He sounds like a good man, and I'm glad I got one guy to look at the big picture. Only 39,999 to go, including, big trucks:thumbup:

Park it at any rest area, but park in the cars section.

Ya... where to park in the NE is never an easy question to answer if you are parking after around 1500.
