And how can you prove he was under the influence. Just because it was in his system doesn't mean he was using then.

The last thing that we need is the legalization of ANY narcotic so that THIS could happen:

No one should drive under the influence of any drugs. Even over the counter ones. That said I have to agree with Kivikon. Just because THC can stay in a persons system for 30 full days. Doesn't mean he was high. And from the story it doesn't say the person with THC in there system was the one driving.

Besides in all honesty if the guy that was smoking dope was driving the accident wouldn't have happened. He would have been paranoid and doing 20mph muttering to himself "Is that a cop? Is that a cop!?" J/K

I don't know about anyone else, but if I ever find myself trapped in a burning truck, I really don't think I be able to control my breathing, or any other body function for that matter.

I watched a man burn in a truck, when I was about 8 in the middle 50's, I had night mares about it many a night.
That seems like a very simplistic reason for an accident.

Because in a structure fire, the chemicals are in the fabrics and such. The heated air rises to the roof and gradually moves down.

If you find yourself trapped in a burning structure, you should cover your face with a damp towel or rag as a filter and keep low to the ground.

You are seeing the results of panic that catch many people. They stand up and get into the heated air and toxic fumes.

Additionally, many are found in the bed asleep and did in fact die from the fumes.

    This does not happen instantly.

In case you wonder, I am one of the fools that wears gear and goes into burning structures.
