    Hello all...

    Finally decided to pull the trigger, been thinking about this career change for several years.
    Starting school at ATDS in Waco, TX on Monday morning
    Just about everything i know about this industry i have picked up from this web site and a couple others.
    I appreciate what everyone contributes here

    I will try to keep a running update from here on out

    Welcome to the forum. Pay attention in school and remember no question is considered stupid. Volunteer for everything, take extra notes and give it your full 110%. If you mess up on the first try, do not give up but rather keep trying. Remember you're not going to do everything perfect.

    Hey bkarl! I will be starting the class with you. Like you, I've been mulling the trucking for several years. Something that I've always wanted to do. So tired of riding a desk and not seeing the world. As a widowed, empty-nester, just couldn't come up with any more excuses not to. Looking forward to starting a new adventure. Will see you in class!

    Leaving for the hotel in a couple of hours. Excited to get school started tomorrow. It sounds stupid, but i had a dream last night about backing up a truck - MAJOR FAIL...lol
    I woke up thinking i had run into something...
