Gee....all along I thought I was working for a good company and making decent money for starting out. I did not realize I was under a trance!

I should quit and get back in the unemployment line! NOT!!!!!!!

news flash! maverick is giving drivers
$3000 bucks for each referral who gets hired and makes his first delivery..that is until the end of august! one driver is referring like 10-12 people a day.

 

He can refer all he likes. The odds are most of them won't make the first load. The couple years I pulled for them you know how many bonuses I got for referrals? One. Back then the bonus wasn't that much. 500 maybe? I really don't remember. A few did make it. I just never was put in for some of them.

I did not do it for a bounty. I did it to help newbies. Quite often I sent drivers elsewhere that was a better fit for them or they did not qualify. To this day I still speak highly of maverick. I am no longer employed by them and don't get squat for people going there. I still do it for the same reason I did back then. To help drivers.

Sure a bonus is nice, don't get me wrong, but if you are counting on getting bonuses pick a company with low standards. For the sake of the recruiters I hope they are on salary. You would starve to death if you was paid commission at maverick. From their own magazine Between The Lines a few years back they gave the % of apps to hires. If I remember right it was like 2 %

yea it's still 500 and 1000 ..the first person u refer u get 500 second 1000 and third 500 fourth 1000 so on and so forth..it's just 3000 until august. and they said recruiters are on salary!!

 

I was referring to what the other person said that was bashing Maverick.
I do believe that I am making good money for just starting out compared to what the other companies pay.

 

I have not referred many people because I do not want anyone to quit a job that they have and go to Maverick and not make it. If they want to do it on their own, fine...but I am not going to be the one to encourage them to move.
I put out honest info on this forum, as much or more than other active Maverick drivers.
They can read and make their own decisions.
