Yeah, so why expend the huge amount of money and risk to drill in deep water when they could just go uncap a few of these wells? Cause if there's one, there's more of them. Did the government step in and force them to close it because it was a threat to the marshes if it leaked? That's a pretty good joke considering.

Mother-inlaw has four wells on their property up in ND...been capped for over 25 years...they oopen up and get just a bit out to keep the lease active....plenty of oil up there...just north of the Backen find....real new "find", going by how long those wells have been "bled" just to keep the price of oil up!
