quote from radio actives website about repairs
"If your radio was not purchased from RAR be advised the SuperWackPack is required on all outgoing radios at a cost of only $99.99. When a radio leaves here it works right. Things such as blown LEDs, finals, light bulbs, issues that come up on the bench, etc. will be repaired and addressed in your bill. As a true technical shop we have no problems repairing any issues that your radio has. Only if repairs exceed common issues found in this field we will notify you before we proceed with the repair. In all other cases we always repair what needs to get fixed. We do not call for approval, this is way too time consuming. However we've been writing repair bills on thousands of radios, and haven't gotten this far trying to nickel and dime anyone."
hmmm...i think anyone that needs work on their radio better not call up them lol 99.99 just to do repair work ontop of the repair work fee -

I think Sparky"s cb shop in Westville ILL. The radio shop in Ontario CA.And Big O cb shop in Indy exit 4 and 465 are the best i have found. If you have the time to kill Big o cb in indy is my number 1 choice. Go in and talk to the professor (RANDY) or Mr clean (DAVE). Randy is truly 1 in a million on cb"s. I have a general lee he set up for me. I stood there the hole time looking over his back and was telling me every part he put in and what it would do to the radio to make it better. 27 parts later and about 2 hours and it cost me $82. And this thing is so clear and recives so well. It the best cb i have every had. Just my opinion. Hope i could help. BOOGIEMANN

Bill Good was the last tech I know of that really knew what and why he was doing.
Seems now we have a bunch of wheel polishers that decided to be radio tune up techs/ -

he's at exit 412 on I-40 in Love's trkstop parking...and if that's your thing, he's got galaxy,connex,magnum,general radios.
