I know this may sound obvious but in the front of the Truckers atlas you can find all the numbers you need to get operating authority and dot numbers. If that fails go to the texas dot and get the info from them. Good luck to you and your dad!! your a good man in my book for helping your dad out!!!!!

oh and welcome to the forum

It may take a bit, since I don't know who's on right now. One of the threads I spend a lot of my time in has a lot of O/O's in it, and I'm sure one or two are from Texas.

Maybe you should call them and explain your dilema. I have become very frustrated with alot of the governments web sites, not that the phone book listings are any better but sometimes if you can speak to an english speaking person you might be able to get your point across....then again I think being as dumb as a box of rocks is a requirement to work for the government.
When you start getting frustrated it gets harder to find stuff out, you and your dad and mom need to take deep breaths and regroup. You'll get the info i now you will!!

your mom and dad should be proud of you ( although I'm sure they are!)
