I drove last year and I'm going to do a road test and after I would do orientation and get my own truck,if I can drive safely.I can shift and drive that truck in my sleep and am not worried at all...But I can see that they want you to get readjusted to the road if it's been over a year since you drove.
Everett Thanks this. -
finally home again and done with my training i put in my 100 hours and going to atlanta tuesday to test out and finally go solo. my trainer was the greatest he was there to train not to leave you in the driver seat by yourself while he's in the sleeper sleeping or playing on the computer. i didnt think i needed this training but im glad they put me through it because i learned alot from my mentor. i went into this training process as a know it all and came out on the other side very humbled.

Know what you mean about PA. Road work everywhere, plus short onramps and people who don't know how to merge. I hate PA, although it is beautiful countryside, and some of the historical sites are cool.
Just don't even get me started on Sears right now!
I was just in Columbus this morning...and friday morning...and thursday morning, and....red S-10 Thanks this. -
