Wal-Mart does allow riders. As far as I know they allow spouses and kids. Pets are not allowed neither are girlfriends or fiancés. Significant other must be wed to the driver. I started riding with my dad at age 7. That was also 12 years ago, so they may have changed their policy. When I rode, both parents had to sign a release form as well as the Transportation Manager, and then I was good to ride for a year. The contract must be updated every year though. Hope this helps ya!

I asked this question at my interview...spouse and child up to 18, after which you need to get permission on a case by case basis (no idea why). And there's no waiting period. And no cost. Just have to fill out some paperwork. Awesome policy if you ask me.

I have been there a little over 6 months and have taken my 11-year-old with me on 2 separate occasions. It was my full week both times. Yep, a release paper that is good for a year is all you need.

    He loved it.
