1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I've been driving for ten months with the company im with now nothing bad to say about them just want something new with a little better pay and found Tmc I've read a lot of disgruntle employee stuff but would like to know if its a good idea to switch to them any info you have would be great! I've looked over their website and of course it sounds perfect just want to know from driver standpoint thank you!

I would suggest getting at least 2 years experience with the company you are with now before going elsewhere. Looking in the papers, all you see are jobs that require at least 2 years verifiable experience. The bottom feeder companies will mostly require just 6-12 months, but there is a reason behind that. Tough it out and you can go almost anywhere. TMC is a fine company but keep in mind that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Nice to read a post of a driver satisfied with the company he drives for.

Now you got me thinkin more roehlster. I have a pre hire with TMC but I am thinking about going back to Reefer once I am out of the military in a few weeks here. I like the idea of flatbedding but the pay at Prime which is who I am thinking about is not bad on the company side and I have talked to another good freind that I have done 4 years here in the corp with and we are going to run a team together. As far as I know TMC does not do teams and I would think there is not much flatbedding for teams. Let me hear ya on this. I am with you as working is a way of life in the military and I cant settle for less. I am a grunt so yeah that sums it up. work work work all day and all night.....

Tmc has great benefits for veterans they were a top ranked company to work for for military veterans I never looked into prime so can't say much about them as far as teams go I have no idea about that I love running solo I trust me driving and nobody else plus it would get a little cramped in the truck plus if one of you is late your both late just to much grab #$$ing for me I would really look into Tmc further call the recruiting and drill them with questions and same for prime and try to talk to drivers and more then one cause all drivers have different opinions I talked to a Tmc driver who left Tmc twice for 2 other companies and came back to Tmc cause the staff and company just dont get better he said but do your research before signing on to anywhere
