I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a 1960 C-80 Chevy Spartan. Would be completely worthless to use today, but come on, 348 W block powered big rig!

1971 R 700
Drove one for a small construction company. Original 325 V8 had bought the farm, a Big Cam 290 was elected to carry on, along with a four speed Brownie w/power, behind the big Mack 5 speed. The truck was equipped with winch, and wet kit, which made it pretty versatile, rode like ###### to hell; (bronze bushing, big camel back springs), but I sure liked that old truck. -
Are we talking wishful thinking or practical?
It would be fun to have a 1928 Model A Ford Depot Hack with a "C" cab.
Practical it would be nice to get a 2005ish Freightliner (sorry I believe in them, stick in the mud) Century ST, 13 speed OD, 3:55 rears, double 125 gallon tanks, a reliable quiet apu (less than 20db), Condo cab, 500hp detroit, less than 500k miles. With a dedicated run from Maine to Florida. Something that allows me to be home on the weekends. Home as in bobtail home Friday night, not expected to hook up again till Monday morning. Oh and to be able to drive it for that person for say 2 years. You pay me $300 a week and in 2 years you give me the keys. There after you pay the fuel and tolls and $500 a week pay. I could live with that. But hey, anything at this point is negotiable.
God I really need a job! -
I think C cabs went out with the Model T...

C Cab refers to the type of door opening. Yes you could still find mail wagons set up that way.
