    Jimthehut,
I just filled out my app but had already been talkin to the recruiters. Hoping to get a prehire. Starting TDI school in 2 weeks then I would like to roll straight into orientation!! I can't wait to be a maverick! I think I have what it takes!

I'm not one for referring just anybody with a heartbeat either...no matter how much the referral pays me.

What good would it do to refer somebody that I knew wasn't going to make it?

Nobody wins in that scenario...the driver doesn't get a job, Maverick doesn't get a driver, and I don't get any money.,

I used to run through there all the time. Usually took coils down and picked up lumber or pipe coming out.

    jmatherly2 Thanks this.

I live 15 min. off i-85 , looking at Maverick after CDL school over at the Community college, Thanks
How many weeks with a trainer with maverick?
My son is training with Prime he's been out 5 weeks 25,000 miles with no home time in sight, his trainer is single and almost never goes home.... I keep telling him to stick it out...

Minimum of 21 days w/trainer. Maverick will try to match you with a trainer from your area as they try to get their drivers in the flatbed division home every week-end for at least a 34 hr restart the specialized division which runs out of Laurenburg, NC is on a two week dispatch. Maverick is definitely a better choice than Prime.

yea..prime dont even give you a road test. they make you hop on a simulator and if you pass that..that is their road test. maverick makes you take an actuall road test. you get $500 bucks for maverick orientation..you get $0 bucks for prime orientation. you're home every weekend with mav..out up to 6-8 weeks at a time with prime..

    jmatherly2 Thanks this.
