Well I can tell you a lot more now. They are big into this whole csa 2010 thing. They pull your PSP and look at all your violations that were notated during inspections for the last 3 years. Forget trying to work here if you have a bunch of inspections due to speeding or logbook violations whether you were put out of service or not. I didn't think your driver PSP was any of their business. It kinda angers me. I guess I signed some release. Is this the norm for companies nowadays?
Very picky about logs. Everything has to match. Qualcomm, tolls, logbooks, receipts etc have to match. Eventually they are getting E-logs for everyone.
They bought the Arrow terminal in Tulsa. I guess they don't own the whole property, but they bought the 20 bay shop and a large office. I figure they stole it with the price of truck terminals being so low. They are supposed to have a huge expansion in the near future as well. Currently they have around 400 trucks and they will have 300 more they say.
I'll report back when I know more. They charge you for any of your stupid mistakes. They make it really clear. Maybe they are just talking tough though if you know what I mean.

Yeah an at fault crash costs you $1500 as a company driver and $2000 as an owner op. The owner ops have to take out a loan at 3% interest and pay $180 a week until they have $2000.
All there trucks from what I can tell are trucks turned in by Melton, Paul, Arrow and any other 500k mi plus trucks. I honestly don't know if they have any new trucks, but I haven't seen any. Sat in a truck with around 600kmi on it and it was pretty thrashed. Of course it was a cheap old columbia/century or whatever they call them.
For someone that wants to run legal they preach running legal on weight, logs etc and maybe that is a good thing for some. I just think its funny when they tell you you can fuel at the Terminal and they don't require you match logs. Seems contradictory. -
Wow, can't believe their running all used trks. Any of them have APU's and if not, whats their idle policy? Gotta admit, losing interest in them now.

What do they pay? That sucks about the older trucks especially as a company driver because we all know most co drivers dont take care of there trucks and let them rattle apart and beat the crap out of them.

23% and 24% after the first year for tanker. I can't remember for flatbed and reefer/van. I did sit in a Peterbilt that was pretty clean for 600k mi. The two Columbias I was in were a little thrashed, but liveable. One had an apu, but I think it came with it from one of the companies that they are obtaining their used trucks from.

They do have some new equipment and buy just about anything. It is a family operation and they seem to keep the trucks for ever. I went by their Stroud terminal a few years back and it looked like a truck salvage yard, they don't throw anything away. They run reefers, flats and asphalt tankers. They were doing the lease purchase deal at one time on old equipment but not sure if they are know.

I drove for them 2004-2007 .They are a decent company . I got paid 38 back in 04 with quarterly bonus. I did have to drive a freightshaker but, at least it was a newer one a 2005. T hey keep their trucks up too. That is if you go to the terminal in stroud. but, if you go to tulsa terminal it's hard to getshop to do anything.They do have a stipulation if you damage the truck or trailers you have to pay for it. It was actually the first company I drove for back in 1983. My truck went 78 miles an hr. in 2007, but they had turned down everybodys truck to 65 I think . That's when I quit.

What does their flatbed div. Pay.

Flatbed paid .40 cpm when I worked there.
Now, deduct about 10-20% of the miles you actually drive because they will short you on EVERY load. So plan on making 32 to 34 cpm.
Forget about EVER getting detention pay.
Forget about EVER getting Lay-Over pay.
O/O trucks they sell are complete pieces of crap but they are ALWAYS willing to work on them for you. I had an O/O tell me that if his truck broke down in their parking lot he would have his truck towed somewhere else to get it worked on.
Company trucks are ok but you'll go through hell getting it worked on. They'd rather run the bill up on an O/O that bought a truck from them.
Don't ever do a lease purchase from these crooks.
Downtime for repairs is on you. I spent 10 days in a Tulsa hotel with NO PAY while they changed a transmission on a company truck.
They will short change you at EVERY opportunity.
They were completely out of control when it came to logs until the DOT shook them down in 2008. They didn't give a #### about logs. As a company driver I was forced to run legal after the shakedown but I was left sitting a lot while the O/O's came in and took the loads since they didn't have any tracking devices on their trucks and didn't have to run legal.
You will sign your life away in orientation and you won't get copies of anything you sign.
Do yourself a favor and keep looking.
