Yes we become Maverick Specialized on August 14th. They have already left a sour taste in my mouth how they are treating rehires. I don't want to get into it but lets just say they are rewarding them for quitting and coming back.

On my first or second run for them, a flatbeder next to me, I helped him with his tarps, windy day, he said there were a lot of snitches working there, and since then I can only agree. However, they have a good training program, good equipment, and contrary to some opinions, I think they provide a good experiance for most people, but it's not for everybody.

Slavery is alive and well at Maviraq Specialized LLC. glass division Laurenburg, N.C. If you like mistreatment, stolen from, forced to do illigal activities with a commercial vehicle, live in your truck in Canada. Like being lied to, like pulling unsafe equipment.. then Maviraq is for you !!

I opened a can of worms here I see, I must apologize as I am working in the flatbed division, regional atlantic division. I do not know anything about the specialized division or the glass. Sorry for any confusion.

there were a half dozen Maverick students in our school at ASU. they actually called the school frequently and came by to ask if any were late or absent from class. they told the school to throw them out if they were late more than once!! the drivers said they were starting out around 38 cents a mile.

If they are not slow you should average between 2000 and 2500 every week, at least for the first couple of months. They like it if you deliver before 10am and if you do you get dispatched faster. The worst is running late on Friday then that screws up your 34hr restart. They have rigid standards and the most intense phyisical testing of any company I worked for in the past. If you can keep the pace up the money is pretty good. drive55cat

They are by far the best company I have drove for. I make good money, am home most weekends and have nice equipment. They weed out the less than desireables quickly. They want the best of the best and that is why they are top shelf. Drivers with a bad frame of mind or have a ugly trucker image to the public will not make it here. If you want a company that does not take any dirt bag to fill a seat then look them up. Their motto is if they have trucks without drivers don't lower the hiring standards get rid of the extra trucks.

Do you have a choice of running long haul or US or do you have to run long haul for awhile after you first start?
-
I think they pick your division based on where you live at. -
So you get home pretty much every weekend?
