    Does anyone know anything about this company>? The lady on the phone seemed nice but I know recruiters are supposed to sugar coat everything to make it easy to swallow.

    PS I did do not only a search of previous threads aboutt his company but also looked at the FULL truck list and did not see this company listed.

    There's 5 or 6 threads going on about Transam and I'm all thru them. If, after you've read the threads, you have any questions, I'll try to answer them.

    Hey panhandle I plan on going to Crowder College for school and have been thinking about Transam. Friends that drive say I might regret it because they are reefers and do mostly grocery stores. Is this correct?

    Probably 60%. Lots of wally world DC's and others. Some good, some bad. TA will pretty much haul anything that isn't hazmat.

    TA can be a PITA and they do micromanage like you wouldn't believe BUT they do have good equipment with APU's and inverters. No idle policy like a bunch of the other starter mega carriers.
